Fall 2025 Anime Blog Banner

Unlike the last season, there are a few new anime on my fall 2025 anime must-watch list.

Yes, the list is shorter than it used to be.

But that’s intentional, considering I have a hard time catching up with the latest episodes, with so many things on my plate right now.

So, the best way to go about it is to watch less anime, of course.

And nope, it has nothing to do with this season’s anime being a total dud.

If anything, I’d rather watch less anime instead of feeling guilty when I can no longer keep up with the latest anime episodes.

It’s hard to clear the backlog when the unwatched episodes start to pile up day by day.

And that doesn’t look good to me, considering that I’m not a fan of backlog.

Of course, it’s not like I have to watch all of them right away now that we have streaming.

But still, I find it more manageable when you treat it like back in the old days, when you could only watch the episode at a specific time, no replay available.

No one way is better than the other.

But for me, this approach works best.

And the same goes for having a short must-watch anime list in every season.

The fall 2025 anime must-watch list

Just like the last time, there are a handful of anime making a comeback this season.

And there are tons of new anime to watch, too, with many of them tend to have a much lighter-hearted story, for the most part.

They’re certainly not wholesome for sure, but they’re not the dead serious type either.

If you’re looking for something light-hearted to watch, then this season’s anime can be your best bet.

Wondering what anime comes out this season? You can take a look at this list right here for a complete list.

With that said, here are the fall 2025 anime that I’m watching right now.

Akujiki Reijou to Kyouketsu Koushaku

Akujiki no Reijou

If you’ve been reading my blog long enough, you know that I’m not into watching romance anime that much.

But surprisingly enough, this is the anime that I’m looking forward to the most every single week.

Melphiera’s penchant for enjoying eating monster meat and the fact that Galbraith is fascinated by her interest and knowledge in monster meat.

What’s more, he even encourages her to continue with her research on eating the monster meat.

And what’s even more amazing?

They actually flirted more in one episode than some anime couples would do in the whole season!

If you’re a fan of Dungeon Meshi but with the romance twist, then you will certainly enjoy watching this anime.

Will I consider reading the Akujiki Reijou manga?

Judging from how much I enjoy watching the anime, the answer is likely to be a yes.

If you’re thinking about giving the manga a try as well, you can get it right here on Amazon:

Boku no Hero Academia

Boku no Hero Academia

Lo and behold, it’s the final season of Boku no Hero Academia.

So, it’s obvious that I have to watch it, right?

I’ve been watching the anime from the beginning and continue to do so whenever a new season is released.

It’s already too late to drop the anime at this point, don’t you think?

You can give this anime a try if you’re into a superhero anime.

But like any other anime that continues from the previous season, I recommend you watch the anime from the beginning.

There’s no point in jumping straight into the current episode when the anime is in its final season.

That is, unless you don’t mind spoilers, though.

You can read the manga if you’d like, which you can get on Amazon:

Kakuriyo no Yadomeshi Ni

Kakuriyo no Yadomeshi Ni

Here’s the funny thing about this anime – I don’t remember what the story in the previous season was all about.

And before I knew it, we had another season of Kakuriyo no Yadomeshi.

While each season tends to begin with a new story arc, it’s still best not to jump straight into the current season right away.

You will have to watch the anime from the beginning for a better understanding.

Another thing to note is that I don’t recommend you watch this anime on an empty stomach since this is a food anime.

I can assure you that you’ll regret watching it, especially since they’re not something you can get a hold of easily.

And if you’re someone who prefers to read the light novel to catch up with the story, you can get the light novel in whichever format you prefer right here on Amazon:

Buy Kakuriyo: Bed & Breakfast for Spirits Vol 1 light novel on Amazon

Will I consider reading the light novel?

For now, the answer is no, unless I happen to get the light novel at a discount.

Kikaijikake no Marie

Kikaijikake no Marie

Imagine you’re a child prodigy in martial arts, but due to your family circumstances, you’re now working as a maid.

But not just as a regular maid, though.

You pretend to be a robot maid since your boss, who is wealthy, handsome, and successful, has zero faith in humanity.

And that’s the situation Marie is in, where she works as a maid for the do-not-trust-human Arthur Louis Zetes.

Knowing how much he hates anyone who lies to him, there’s no doubt Marie will be in hot water if Arthur finds out that she’s actually a human.

It’s because of this reason that his butler is doing his best to cover up for Marie, including erasing her past.

Thankfully, Arthur seems to fall for anything, considering she barely has any facial expression, just like a robot.

So, she should be safe for now, but for how long things will remain this way is anyone’s guess.

If you’re looking for another romance anime to watch besides the Akujiki Reijou anime, this is another good addition.

And if you’re thinking about getting the manga instead, you can get it here on Amazon:

Mechanical Marie, Vol 1 manga on Amazon

Will I be adding the manga to my reading list, you ask?

For now, the answer is no.

But I may consider reading it if the anime ending isn’t that satisfying to me.

Spy x Family

SPY x FAMILY

Well, there’s nothing much to say about this anime other than that anime is a continuation of the previous season.

Can you jump straight into the current season without having to watch the previous season?

Yes, since the current season gives you a brief introduction about Loid, Yor, and Anya at the beginning of the first episode.

But even with that, I still recommend that you watch the anime from the beginning for a better understanding.

And if you’re thinking about catching up with the story through manga instead, you can read my thoughts about the manga here if you’d like.

Over to you
