I can’t believe how quickly time passes by now that I have to write the Anime Deals: September 2025 Edition post.
But unlike my usual fanfare, I’m happy to report that I’m making a lot of progress as far as my goals for this year are concerned.
Yes, there are a few goals that I didn’t manage to tackle, considering that they’re big goals and I doubt I can get them done by the end of 2025.
But other than that, the rest of them are making huge progress.
So, what can you expect moving forward?
Well, you can expect to hear me talking about my books from time to time.
What can I say? I’m an author first and foremost.
It’s because of this reason that I’m cutting back on blogging to make way for whatever book projects I have for this year.
Despite all that, I still keep my eyes glued to any interesting deals that you don’t want to miss.
And guess what? You get to see them all in this month’s Anime Deals: September 2025 Edition post.
Anime Deals: September 2025 Edition update
9/10/2025 – Added a new offer from JapanesePod101.com.
Playasia
If you’re one of the people who buy Bandai Namco merchandise through its official store, then you may find the news about them closing their online store heartbreaking.
Funnily enough, I don’t even know we can actually buy directly from them.
Here I am, thinking we may need to use a shopping service like Buyee to buy from the Bandai Namco store.
While it’s sad to hear that they’re closing their online store, the good news is that they’re now partnering with retailers to sell the merchandise online.
And guess what?
Playasia is one of them.
It doesn’t matter whether you’re thinking about buying the Elden Ring merchandise or buying the Asian version of Bandai Namco games; you can get them all there.
What’s even better is that they’re all in stock, too.
The only caveat is that they’re all available in limited quantities.
And there’s a big chance they won’t restock the items once they’re sold out.
Wondering what items you can get at the Bandai Namco shop?
You can have a look at them right here at Playasia:

CDJapan

Here’s the thing about plushies in general – it feels like you must get them all, including the characters you don’t like.
Take the Tonberry plushie, for example.
We all know that Tonberry is a pain to fight. It can insta-kill you if you’re not careful.
But who would’ve thought the thing that can give you so much misery could look adorable as a plushie?
The same goes for the Final Fantasy IX plushies.
Maybe you’re thinking about getting the Garnet and Zidane plushie at first.
But then you realize that the Kuja plushie looks adorable too, despite Kuja being a pain to fight, or you’re just not a fan of this guy at all.
Whatever you think about these characters, the plushies are now available for pre-order at CDJapan.
Can’t say for sure how long it will be available.
But if you find any of the plushies adorable, you can get them right here at CDJapan:

Just to let you know that you can get other Final Fantasy IX plushies at CDJapan as well. But the Vivi one is already sold out as I write this.
Lindsay Does Languages
Maybe you’re the sort of person who tends to pick up random vocabulary or phrases when you watch your favorite drama or anime.
Fret not, you’re not the only one.
Even I have this sort of habit, too.
And I find it fun to do, even though I don’t do it all the time.
While it’s great that you managed to pick up a few random vocabulary words or phrases while you’re watching something, you probably don’t think this way of learning a language is effective.
But what if I tell you there’s a way to turn it into a powerful and fun learning session?
Well, you can learn how to do just that with Lindsay Does Languages’ Watch & Learn course.
With this course, you’ll learn everything you need to know about learning your target language from your favorite TV shows and anime.
Things like effective listening, how to take what you watch further after viewing, and so much more.
Wondering whether to turn on or off the subtitles?
Guess what? This course also covers that part.
If you’d like to turn your drama- and anime-watching habit into a fun language learning sesh, you can get the course right here:

And if you want to take this sesh to another level, I highly recommend that you get the Solo Language Learner Planner as well.
What I love about this planner is that it has a dedicated section to record all the random vocabulary and phrases you pick while you watch your favorite drama and anime.
Of course, you can do all sorts of things with the planner, not just jotting down the random vocabulary and phrases that you pick from your favorite anime
You can learn more about it right here if you’re interested:

Yes, I know what you’re thinking.
What’s the point of getting any of the books from the Trigger Locked series now when I’ll be releasing the brand new edition anytime soon?
Well, you’re not wrong about that.
It’s pointless to get the book now when the new edition will come out soon.
But the perk of buying the book on my Payhip store now is that you’ll get the new edition for free when it comes out.
You don’t get that when you buy my book at the retailer’s website.
And to sweeten the deal, you can also get 25% off on any of my books when you use the coupon code SEKINAMAYUBLOG during checkout.
Sounds like a good deal to you?
You can have a look at the books right here on my Payhip store:

I'm an author who writes thriller and suspense light novels. But when I'm not writing a book, I love to blog about books that I enjoy reading. Some of these books also become the inspiration for my novel as well.
Most of the books that I talk about on my blog tend to be manga and light novels, with nonfiction books in between. If you're looking for interesting books to read, then you will certainly enjoy reading my blog.
Hello again! I was wondering if it’s possible to find your books in Russian anywhere? Unfortunately, I haven’t been able to find them with a Russian translation.
Sorry, my books are only available in English for now. You can buy the books at the usual places or on my online store if you’re okay with the reading the books in English. I’m currently in the middle of releasing the new edition of the Trigger Locked series. So, I recommend that you to wait for a bit if you’re thinking about getting any of the books from the series. If you already sign up with my email list to receive an update on my new blog post, you’ll be notified about the release soon.
