As I’m gearing up for Anime Deals: September 2022 Edition, there are many things that got me thinking.

One of them is Sony will be increasing the price of PS5 for all regions except for the United States.

As someone who is planning to buy the PS5 in the near future, that doesn’t sound like good news to me considering that I prefer to buy the PS5 when the price drops.

But with the chip shortage and the supply chain issue, I get why Sony has to increase the price.

While I’m not too happy about the price increase, I have no issue with having to wait a little longer to buy PS5.

As far as the games are concerned, most of the games that I want to play are still being released on PS4. And only a handful of them is PS5-exclusive, which makes PS5 isn’t that much worth getting at least for now.

Of course, you can argue here that you can play PS4 games on PS5. But if you already have a PS4, you don’t have to rush to buy PS5. It’s a different story when all game developers stop releasing games on PS4.

I won’t deny that the fated day will eventually come soon. But for now, I don’t see any game developers will stop releasing games on PS4 anytime soon.
