Anime Deals October 2025 Blog Banner

What just happened now that it’s time for me to write the Anime Deals: October 2025 Edition post?

I guess it must have something to do with me being busy throughout September.

There are many things I need to do to prepare for the new edition of the Trigger Locked series.

There are so many things to do, and yet so little time.

With only a few months left before 2025 is officially over, I wonder if I can get everything done.

Now that 2025 is almost over, expect the blog to be all about the Trigger Locked series.

Don’t worry, I will still be talking about deals each month like I always do.

So, be sure to have a look at this month’s Anime Deals: October 2025 Edition post for deals you don’t want to miss.

Just to let you know, I’ll be transitioning to a brand new platform to sell my books.

I won’t be promoting my Payhip store anymore. But keep an eye on future Anime Deals posts for a major announcement.

NieR Series 15th Anniversary Box Blog Banner

I admit that I’ve been talking about the NieR series quite a lot on my blog.

But it’s hard NOT to talk about it when they’re now releasing a new item.

And this time, we have NieR Series 15th Anniversary Box.

It will have the figure that you see here, featuring 2B from NieR Automata, Fio from NieR Re[in]carnation, and NieR from NieR Replicant.

I’ll be honest here, it’s rare to see all of them in one display, especially the Fio one.

Besides the figure, you’ll also get the NieR Jazz Arrangement Album from the Dinner Show.

It’s an event that was held in December 2024.

And last but not least is the NieR Weapon Story book.

It’s a collection of hidden tales of the weapons that you come across in all NieR games.

And the good news is it’s all in English.

So, no more having to use Google Lens just to read the book.

The item is expected to be released on March 31, 2026.

But it doesn’t hurt to pre-order the item now since there’s a big chance it won’t be available for long.

You can get it right here at Playasia if you’re interested:

Lindsay Does Languages

I’ll be honest here: I’m not a fan of prompts.

The reason is that I find them too rigid, and the prompts tend not to reflect the situations and feelings I’m experiencing, causing me to have a hard time answering them.

At least, that’s as far as the journal prompts are concerned.

But somehow, I changed my mind about prompts after Lindsay saying that prompts can help you to be fluent in the language faster.

And it takes less time to get your language lesson done for the day, too.

When you use prompts to put everything you learn into practice, it’s easier to know the areas you need to improve.

Rather than spending another hour on grammar and vocabulary drills, you’ll progress much faster when you put everything into practice with the help of prompts.

The more you practice writing and speaking, the better you’ll become.

Who would’ve known, right?

You can ask Gemini or ChatGPT to come up with prompts for you or search all over the Internet for language prompts.

Or you can get Lindsay Does Languages’ Promptly instead, where you’ll get a writing and speaking prompt sent to you each week.

What I love about Promptly is that it doesn’t just come with the writing and speaking prompts. But it also comes with video trainings, such as how to use prompts at any level and how you can self-review for faster fluency.

So, Promptly isn’t just about the language prompts. It also teaches you how to make huge progress in your language learning in a fun, flexible, and practical way.

If you’re like me, who is currently learning Japanese and wants to make huge progress in your Japanese learning, then consider giving Promptly a try.

You can learn more about Promptly right here:

As much as using prompts can help you to learn Japanese faster, it won’t help you if you know nothing about the language and your language foundation is shaky.

If you’re looking for a proper way to learn Japanese, then I highly recommend you have a look at JapanesePod101.com.

What I love about JapanesePod101.com is that not only it covers all levels, from the absolute beginner to the advanced level.

But each lesson comes with an audio or video lesson, lesson notes, and a writing worksheet to practice Japanese writing.

Of course, you will gain access to these features if you upgrade to their Premium or Premium PLUS subscription.

What’s more, upgrading to either plan will give you access to their premium study tools, too, such as the grammar bank, kanji study tools, spaced repetition flash cards, and many more.

Do you need help in coming up with a customized plan for your Japanese lessons?

Then you’ll need to upgrade to the Premium PLUS subscription since it gives you access to your own teacher.

JapanesePod101.com is currently running a sale where you can get 40% off forever on the 1-, 3-, 6-, 12-, or 24-month Premium or Premium PLUS plan.

But this offer will only be available until October 24th, 2025, though.
