I have an honest confession to make in this Anime Deals: December 2025 Edition post.
Depending on the situation, there’s a big chance the next blog post will come out a lot later than usual.
The reason for that has nothing to do with the holiday season whatsoever.
Rather, it has more to do with me trying to achieve this year’s goal until the final hour.
If you’ve been reading my blog for a while, you may have already noticed that I tend to underestimate the time I need to achieve my goals.
Because of that, the goals for the year tend to be a repeat of the last year.
Amazingly enough, this year has been different, as I managed to achieve most of my goals.
Well, that is if I manage to achieve them before Christmas.
I can’t say for sure when the new blog post will be since I still have so many things to do, goal-wise.
So, expect the new blog post to come out during the final week of December at the latest.
That’s all I can say for now.
In the meantime, if you’re looking for gift ideas, then you certainly don’t want to miss this month’s Anime Deals: December 2025 Edition post.

I’ve been hearing a lot about the Atelier Ryza game for quite a long time.
But as much as I’d like to give this game a try, I’ve never seen the game available at a discount on PSN, though.
If it does, it’s always the Chinese edition of the game that is on sale, never the English one.
Or perhaps did I miss it by any chance?
Well, maybe, I guess.
Even if it does, I don’t think I can buy the game for now since I still have a huge game backlog I need to clear before buying any new games.
But if you’re a fan of the game and would like to get your hands on the physical copy, you’re in luck since you can get the Atelier Ryza Secret Trilogy DX at Playasia.
Even better?
You can even get the Premium and the Special Box edition at Playasia as well.
And not just for the Asian version, but the English version, too.
The only thing you need to be careful of is that the Asian version will only have traditional Chinese, simplified Chinese, and Korean subtitles.
Unless you speak those languages, you will need to get the English one.
Fret not, since the English version will still have the Japanese voice.
It’s another Asian version that has English subtitles.
Thinking about getting the game for yourself or as a gift? You can get the game right here at Playasia:

Just to let you know that Playasia does offer free shipping for orders above $99.
And the good news is that the game is eligible for free shipping.

Thinking about getting Japanese manga as a gift or for yourself?
Then there’s no doubt the best way to go about it is to get a manga box set, of course.
While not all manga has a box set, there are still plenty of manga box sets to choose from, too, from popular manga like Dragon Ball to Frieren: Beyond the Journey’s End.
You can even get the NANA manga box set, too, if you’re in the mood for something nostalgic.
If you’re looking for a last-minute gift, then you can’t go wrong with the manga box set.
And they’re in stock, too.
As always, I don’t recommend you shop for gifts at the very last minute.
There’s a big chance there will be a shipping delay, even if you use the expedited one.
Love the idea of getting a manga box set for yourself or as a gift? You can have a look at them right here for a wide selection of Japanese manga box sets to choose from:

Lindsay Does Languages
We all know that having a structured language lesson is important if you want to master the language to fluency.
But having a structured language lesson is pointless if you don’t put what you’ve learned into practice.
Maybe putting what you learn into practice won’t be so hard if you live in a country that speaks the language or you know a native speaker.
But the problem is you live in the boonies, and no one speaks that language other than you.
So, what should you do when you want to practice the language but you have no way to do that?
The answer to that question is to use prompts.
What’s amazing about using prompts is that it not only does it helps you to practice your writing and speaking.
But it also works for any language level.
It doesn’t matter whether you’re a complete beginner or an advanced learner; everybody can benefit from using prompts in their language learning process.
Sure, the idea of using prompts in your language learning is good and all.
But who has the time to scour all over the Internet for prompts?
If that’s you, then consider getting Lindsay Does Languages Promptly.
With Promptly, you’ll receive a new language prompt every month.
Of course, that’s not the only thing you’ll get when you sign up with Promptly.
You can learn more about it right here on what else you’ll get when you sign up with Promptly:

I'm an author who writes thriller and suspense light novels. But when I'm not writing a book, I love to blog about books that I enjoy reading. Some of these books also become the inspiration for my novel as well.
Most of the books that I talk about on my blog tend to be manga and light novels, with nonfiction books in between. If you're looking for interesting books to read, then you will certainly enjoy reading my blog.
Hello. Do you like fighting games? My favourites are Tekken (Bandai Namco) & Street Fighter (Capcom) and also Vs. crossovers (like Capcom vs. SNK 2, Tatsunoko vs. Capcom and Marvel vs. Capcom). Also since I started watching YouTube play videos I’m quite like to find some “hidden gems” not with the help of such channels as Krizalid99v2 (specialise on Boss characters) and Loading Geek.
P.S : Do you read a manga “My Capricorn Friend” by Otsuichi? I order this manga on Amazon yesterday. I think this manga has quite dramatical, touching story.
Sorry, I’m not a fan of fighting games, and I also have never heard of My Capricorn Friend before. It looks interesting to me, but it’s too bad that it’s not available in English. From what I can gather, it’s only available in french, german and spanish.
