Now that the holiday season is around the corner, the Anime Deals: December 2024 Edition post will be all about finding the perfect gifts for your otaku friends.

So, what’s the deal with the multi-lingual games, you ask?

Apart from the fact you can play the games in your native language, you also get to play the games in the Japanese voice.

And that holds true with old games since you only have the option to play the games in English voice back then.

Take Grandia II for example.

Unless you play the game in Japanese, you probably have no idea what the game in Japanese voice sounds like.

There wasn’t any option that allowed you to play the game in Japanese voice while still enabling English subtitles.

Sure, you can play the international version of the game. But not all games have that.

Now that Grandia and Grandia II are getting the remaster treatment, we finally get to play Grandia II in Japanese voice.

I’m taking Grandia as an example here since the game is on sale at Playasia as I write this.

So, I can’t say for sure if the game is still on sale when this post goes live.
