Now that August is here, it’s time for the Anime Deals: August 2025 Edition post, where you’ll find amazing deals related to anime and video game merchandise.

But before that, there’s something I’d like to get off my chest.

It’s about the Kaiju No.8 anime.

Yes, I know that the image for this post doesn’t match what I’m about to say here.

But stay with me, considering that there’s a likely chance that I may drop the anime altogether.

As someone who recommended the Kaiju No.8 manga in the past, and the anime somehow rekindled my love for the manga once again, I can’t help but feel the second season seems to fall flat for me.

Shocker, I know.

The reason? It has to do with how dissatisfied I am with the manga’s final chapter.

And nope, my dissatisfaction has nothing to do with not seeing Kafka and Mina become a power couple at the end of the story.

Rather, it’s more to do with the mystery that leads to the Kaiju’s manifestation in the world.

It’s frustrating when you leave the mystery hanging after all the hints are given, as if there are more things to unpack, but it can’t be since the manga will end in a few chapters.

I won’t spoil you how the manga ends, except that it has a happy ending.

So, I’ll leave you at that and have a look at what’s in store for you in this month’s Anime Deals: August 2025 Edition post.

To be honest, I never thought we’d get to see anything NieR-Replicant-related, considering that the news these days is mainly about Final Fantasy IX’s 25th Anniversary.

But lo and behold, we get to see Kaine and Nier once again.

And this time it will be for the FORM-ISM figure line, where the line tends to have detailed design and is only meant for display.

Will Emil join the FORM-ISM fray is something I’m not sure of.

But for now, only two of them made it to the FORM-ISM figure line.

The good news is it’s still not too late for you to pre-order these figures by the time you read this post.

But the caveat is that there’s a pre-order deadline for the Kaine one, though.

I can’t say for sure why, but it may have something to do with the Nier one coming out in October, whereas the Kaine one will come out in December.

And the best part?

The release date is next year!

Of course, you will still need to pre-order these figures, considering that they’re only available in limited quantities.

And it doesn’t help that these figures tend to sell like a hot cake, too.

Also, don’t bet on these figures getting restocked either, since they rarely get restocked unless they’re the re-release.
