Refund and Returns Policy
Thank you for supporting an independent author like me. Because my products consist of digital downloads and custom print-on-demand books, the refund and returns policy is structured as follows:
1. Digital Products (Ebooks & Box Sets)
Due to the immediate nature of digital content, all sales of ebooks and digital box sets are final and non-refundable once the download link has been provided or accessed.
- Technical Issues: If you encounter a technical problem with your file (e.g., the file is corrupt or won’t open), please contact me immediately. I will work with you to ensure you receive a functional copy of your purchase.
- Accidental Duplicate Purchase: If you accidentally purchase the same ebook twice, please contact me within 48 hours for a refund of the duplicate transaction.
2. Print-on-Demand Books (Physical)
My physical books are printed specifically for you at the time of purchase through my partner, Lulu. Because these are custom-manufactured items, I cannot accept returns or offer refunds for “change of mind” or buyer’s remorse.
- Damaged or Defective Items: Your satisfaction is important to me. If your book arrives damaged (e.g., crushed corners, torn pages) or contains a printing defect (e.g., missing pages, blurred text), Lulu will provide a free replacement.
- Reporting Period: You must report any damage or defects within 14 days of the delivery date.
- Evidence Required: To process a replacement, you need to provide clear photographs of the damage/defect and the packaging it arrived in.
3. How to Request Assistance
To request a replacement for a damaged book or help with a digital file, please contact me directly at me[at]sekinamayu.com. Please include your Order Number in the subject line and attach any required photographs if you are reporting a damaged physical book.

4. Shipping Costs
For damaged or defective print-on-demand items, you will not be responsible for the shipping costs of the replacement book. I don’t offer “return shipping” labels as I generally do not require the damaged item to be mailed back once photo evidence is provided.
